I watched It's a Wonderful Life yesterday & I now finally see the appeal.

It's a Wonderful Life is a beautiful movie with a very original idea, granted that Original Idea will go on to be down to death to the point where all originality from said idea is now gone, but that's besides the point, the point is, is that after years of not watching it I have finally watch it and I am extremely satisfied. The acting is really good, if not great, & feels very natural, the set design & set pieces are very impressive, especially when you know how big the set was in real life, the writing, directing, & feel of the film are all also really well done as well, but the thing that impresses me the most is the film's two messages, the first one of course being that life is & always will be wonderful despite it's flaws, & secondly the message of Individualism vs the Community.Yes it's okay to have dreams, & if your able to fulfill them, that's fine, but that doesn't mean you have to see your own life as a failure if you done fulfill your dreams, as a man's life still has value regardless & you should be happy with what you have, especially if you have touched many other peoples lives by helping them & being as selfless as you can be. I think that is a very powerful message, because not only am I trying to get my big break as a film writer, but also I don't want to spend my whole life in the town I am living in, but I realize too that it'll be a while if not ever before that happens, so I am still happy with the life I am living right now, especially since there are people in my life that love me still. So the message really did resonate with me, and yeah I did jerk a tear or two at the end. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2JV2alc
