I’m sure most of you have been thinking about this as much as I have. David Starsky was robbed of the dance-off that night at the American Lines disco club. Dancin’ Rick may have had the better moves, but it was evident that the crowd enjoyed Starsky’s performance more. Was it Dancin’ Rick’s pompous and arrogant demeanor that gave him the edge in the judge’s (dear Patton Oswalt) mind? Or were they in cahoots to embarrass challengers on a regular basis?It seems to me that either the patented Applause-o-meter is malfunctioning or the operator and dancer are fixing the matches for the glory of the win.
