It's not a perfect movie by any means, but it was certainly an original take on the vampire genre.turning the traditional vampire genre on it's head where generally they're a fringe group that stay hidden from humans. In the movie they've completely dominated the world and transformed it into a society where vampirism is the norm and widely accepted. The sense of normalcy despite everyone being afflicted with vampirism was an interesting idea, like they're trying to hold on to the past but their society is just dead and cold. The classism angle was cool too. Humans seen as the lower class and nothing more than a food source to be harvested. The gluttony of vampires and their over reliance on a shortening supply of blood leading to a human revolution of sorts. It had a killer cast as well; Ethan Hawke, Sam Neil and Willem Dafoe.I really want to see a continuation, see where the main characters have ended up after all this time.Your thoughts? via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2FJdm2z
