Our movie RUN would've opened in theaters this weekend. Was really looking forward to the r/movies Official Discussion page :/

Our movie RUN, about a twisted Mother/Daughter relationship was going to open wide this Mother's Day weekend.Trailer here. Our distributor Lionsgate made the wise decision weeks ago to postpone it's release, which we fully agree was the right move. But it's hard to not feel a bit wistful about how fun this weekend would've been. One of the biggest highlights for me for when our last film SEARCHING was released in 2018 was the AMAZING discussion page right here at r/movies. Even more than all the traveling, premieres, press junkets and panels -- there was no better way to interact with people who enjoyed the movie. It was so cool seeing everyone's opinions, debates and especially the impressive easter egg hunting.Things are still up in the air with how and when RUN will be released. But in the meanwhile, we're moving forward full speed ahead with prepping SEARCHING 2 (which might ironically be one more the more padnemic-proof films to make these days) and a few other projects we'll talk about soon.Hope everyone and their loved ones ares are being as safe as possible. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3fziN1i
