I have a few days ago seen the film, "Clerks", directed and written by Kevin Smith and I thought it was genuinely fantastic. The dialogue is incredibly well written, fun and hilarious. And of course, all the characters are awesome in their own ways, even if they are fairly minor. They have personality and feel like real people you could have interesting conversations with. It became one of my personal favorite movies ever. It's a film with a lot of heart and wisdom. It's a film that is very casual but surprisingly philosophical at the same time. It really flows well in what it expresses. It reminds me of why I love "Black Lagoon" so much. Extremely fun characters that feel real that have fun and philosophical interactions that feel very natural. However, I just now realized that some people think the acting is terrible. And honestly, I do not see it. They aren't the most masterful performances exactly but the acting is good enough and appropriate for the characters they have to play. They feel believable and fits with the tone and style of the whole movie. I actually kinda love the acting and I think it's a part of its charm.Which is a fairly common criticism of a specific film that you do not agree with? via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2IM1s5Q
