Everything about this film is just so fucking fantastic. It's ridiculously aggressive, gritty, frightening and funny. I don't know whether to be disappointed with myself for not watching it sooner - or to be excited by the fact that I'm now in on one of 2008's best-kept secrets.The "When Murder Goes Wrong" scene is what forced me to write this post. I've never really seen somebody act at that level before. Left me a little disoriented by how talented Tom Hardy truly is.The cinematography makes you feel like you're in prison with him. It's shot so jarringly and harshly lit. The soundtrack is great too - filling scenes with torment, discomfort, and sheer violence.Tl;dr: few people can utter "cunt" the way Tom Hardy can.
