Man, why does no one talk about this movie?Written by Shane Black and directed by Renny Harlin, The Long Kiss Goodnight is such a bombin' movie overall. The writing is so on point it's scary, this movie had me cackling with laughter one second and then completely tense the next. Shane Black wrote such a great screenplay for this.Also, this movie has one of Samuel L. Jackson's best performances as Mitch Hennessey. He has the most quotable and funny lines in the whole movie, and he has an interesting character arc.Geena Davis is also has a fantastic role as Samantha Caine. She's one of the most interesting action protagonists I've seen and is up there with The Bride from Kill Bill in terms of good female characters. In my opinion at least.And the action is so high octane and entertaining that you're pumped up with adrenaline the whole movie.Tl;dr The Long Kiss Goodnight is a really great action movie with spectacular writing and really great, funny, and interesting characters. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2PXiJgo
