After Rewatching Dead Mans Chest Theres One Thing I Really Have To Give It Credit For.

That is the handling of the Kraken. From the very first scene with it where you see something emerge from the water and bring a great ship down in only a few seconds. To all the scenes where there talking about just how ferocious and horrible a creature it is.And then you finally see it in action for the first time and it holds up. As you see a desperate crew fighting to there last breaths against this monstrous leviathan that steals unsuspecting men from the ship. And no matter what they try or what they do the fate of the ship is inevitable and there all doomed. And you get one quick fleeting glance of the terrifying beasts mouth before the scene ends. Then the final battle where they do everything the crew does everything it can to stop it. Hits it with canon fire, blows up a dozen barrels of gunpowder and rum and still the beast keeps coming back. And it wins, it takes down the pearl and kills most of the crew.Accompany this with Hans Zimmers amazing score. You have an awesome mythological beast that lives up to the hype the rest of the film puts upon it. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2EoeXXk
