Which Is Your Favorite Use Of Music For The End Of The Film?

For me, the final scene of Memento haves some of the most awesome use of music ever: https://youtu.be/0Op_tlDc4BMIt really expresses that internal conflict and hidden sadness emerging inside him. It starts out with the protagonist just wanting to forget a truth he doesn't want to face. When he takes action to change that, the music becomes more action-packed but in a way that it's subtle, showing his sense of duty and that'll he do what it takes to get out from that feeling. Then, the music suddenly changes into this extreme tragedy adn sadness. A part of him really knows that he cannot turn back and that he was responsible for the wrongful actions. When he tries to fantasize/day dream of him getting his wife and memories back, it changes to a more hopeful tone but a false kind of hope that barely hides the sadness deep inside him and when his memories are gone, the music stops. Showing that feeling is gone for him and this will go on again later. The music tells the story without having to use words.Memento is one of my absolute favorite movies ever. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/33cVhAY
