Bonus points for not using a critically panned movie like Jupiter Ascending, where Eddie Redmayne creates life and destroys it.Or Dungeons&Dragons, where Jeremy Irons is very subtle about what he wants in this scene.Preferably performances from (at least) decent movies, like Dave Franco with the "my face must look like it's mimicking what i'm feeling at every moment" strategy in The Disaster Artist or Logan Marshall-Green with his contant gesturing and facial expressions in Spider-man Homecoming.Or hell, a controversial one - Christian Bale in The Big Short. Even though he's portraying a real person, he made the artistic choice to give the character these physical ticks and mannerisms that are quite odd IMO. Love him in basically every other movie, hell, I think even this is a decent performance overall, but sometimes it descends into annoying. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2YOYR5R

» What's the first performance that comes to mind when you hear "over-acting"? (barring Nic Cage)
