What actor or character had the most "deliciously evil" villain voice?

I was randomly listening to the original "Be Prepared" as performed by Jeremy Irons in The Lion King. As a kid, this was my least favorite song in the movie, but as an adult, I can so much more appreciate Jeremy Irons' performance here. He's so evil, and he loves being evil, and it oozes out of every syllable of his speech. It's not about the scariest or most intimidating or creepiest. But it's charming, inviting, relishing.Other deliciously evil voices, off the top of my head:King Edwards the Longshanks, performed by Patrick McGoohan, Braveheart"The trouble with Scotland is that it's full of Scots!"Jafar, performed by Jonathan Freeman, Aladdin (1992)"A beautiful dessert bloom such as yourself should be on the arm of the most powerful man in the world."Emperor Palatine, performed by Ian McDermid, Return of the Jedi"Oh, I'm afraid the deflector shield will be quite operational when your friends arrive."Side note: Lots of British accents going on.Who else is there? via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2YXpJAD
