In case you missed this post, Disney is scrapping everything in development at Fox. That included several hundred projects, so I decided to make a list of the ones that were noteworthy. A TL;DR is at the bottom for an even conciser version of this already concise version.Since I don't have the time (or will) to list details on every single one of the 276 projects listed as "in development," and since nobody here cares about 80-90% of them since it's either unknown/original IP, or is being made by someone new to the industry, I screenshotted everything, and it can be found here. Note for those unaware, in development usually doesn't mean they're actively working on making the movie right now. That's only true of films listed as "Pre-Production" which means the film has been greenlit and they're working on hiring cast and crew, refining the script and budget, scouting locations, storyboarding, developing the sets, etc, and will begin shooting within a year, usually a few months. Most projects don't get this far but they always start as "In Development" at some point. "Pre-production" movies are less likely to be scrapped since money has already been committed to doing those things. But it's still possible. The only films listed as this are:Avatar 4-5 - The second and third Avatar movies are currently in post-production, posed to release in 2021 and 2023. Disney has confirmed these are not cancelled.Fear Street 2 & 3 - Fox was setting up a trilogy based off of R.L. Stine's books. The first began shooting in March and is posed to release in June next year.Death on the Nile - A sequel to 2017's Murder on the Orient Express.Bob's Burger's: The Movie - Movie adaptation of the hit Fox TV animated show.Garfield - A reboot directed by Mark Dindal, who also directed The Emperor's New Groove, Chicken Little, and most recently Wonder Park.Z - Reboot of the Zorro movies, written and directed by Alfonso Cuaron's son Jonás, who helped write Gravity, starring Gael Bernal & Kiersey Clemons.I'll also list the movies that are currently in production, which either means they're in the middle of filming, or are in post-production (editing, composing score, special effects).
