If you only watch the Andrew Garfield Spiderman movies, the story of Spiderman is a tragedy about a selfish asshole who ruins people’s lives.

The Amazing Spider-Man continuity is a complete travesty.Peter Parker gets his girlfriend’s dad killed, then breaks his promise to the dying dad by dating his girlfriend again, which then in turn gets her killed. His investigation into his father’s work fairly directly causes the domino effect that leads to Curt Conners becoming the lizard. His cavalier treatment of Max Dillon even after he becomes Electro hastens his descent into madness.He also denies his best friend Harry Osborn life-saving blood which leads to him going insane.If this was your only exposure to Spiderman, you’d think he was a total piece of shit. via /r/movies http://bit.ly/2PsFjMm
