How come BluRay extras have become so god damn scarce these days?

DVD/BD extras used to have hours upon hours of extra content, deleted scenes, extra cuts, dozens of minutes of bloopers, "MAKING OF's", interviews, stories to read, concept art set pics etc etc it used to be god damn gold mines.Nowadays its "Here's some B roll footage, 2 bloopers and director commentary"...Even comic book films, and huge summer blockbusters, films that could have awesome footage of CGI processes and rendering and concept art and interviews and inspirations.... Zip, Nada, nothing interesting, Blu Rays have gotten all these space and nobody ever uses them anymore... I used to love getting BDs for extras but they're severely lacking these days...
