Best vs worst use of a song in a movie

For example, The End of The World by Skeeter Davis. In the Eternals I found it to be quite jarring. I understand that they wanted to juxtapose an epic superhero movie with a contemplative song(and of course it has the 'end of the world' theme) but I think it simply didn't fit.On the other hand, the song played was used in Girl, Interrupted during the scene where Susanna returns to Daisy's apartment and it was completely effective. It added to the uneasiness of the scene yet the soft pace and melody contrasted the tragedy that was about to be discovered.What are other examples you guys can think of? via /r/movies https://ift.tt/vCchFXp
