Every time I recommend The Nice Guys to someone, they reply with, "You mean The Other Guys?" I've simply stopped recommending it to my friendship group but I implore you to give it a go!I find it quite mind-boggling that this is not seen as one of the greatest comedic films of the last decade. Both Gosling and Crowe have great chemistry, the writing is refreshingly funny, it's well-paced, and possesses an unplaceable charm and wit. Not to mention, the action is highly entertaining and has an air of unpredictability about it. It manages to tug on your heartstrings and makes you empathize with the characters as flawed as they are. It feels like the perfect 80s film about the 70s made in the 2010s.Also, Crowe and Gosling, two sorta typecast actors, have surprisingly competent comedic chops. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/tKuESko
