In the Bond movie “Goldfinger” the villain hatches a plan to irradiate the US gold supply in Fort Knox for 58 years. That was in 1964, exactly 58 years ago.

If we assume the movie takes place in the year it was released (1964), James Bond says the amount of time the gold in Fort Knox would be irradiated if the nuclear dirty bomb went off would be 57 years.
