Last night, I was watching “The Boy in the Striped Pajamas” for the first time with my wife. Boy oh boy, that was a gut wrenching ending. I mean, the whole movie was an emotional ride for me. I was deep into my seat. As that final shot of the mother and daughter faded to black and the credits started rolling, I was filled with feelings that I wanted to ruminate on for a bit. Emotions that I wanted to savor. I had but 10 seconds of that until…“WAAAASSSSSSUUUUUUUUUUUP?!”Yes. A trailer for Scary Movie burst onto my screen like the damn Kool Aide Man. Oh, yeah. I was livid. I was not happy. It completely ruined the end of the movie for me. I can’t remember when, but this isn’t the first time Netflix did this with a post movie trailer. I find all of it unnecessary and jarring. I mean, I already had Scary Movie on my watch later list.Has this ever happened to you? Is there a setting I can change? Should I write a strongly worded letter to Netflix? via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3uKTBfY
