Movies you loved as a child—but upon rewatch as an adult turned out to be pretty terrible

The one that comes to mind for me is: Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.It had an amazing soundtrack (Bryan Adams as a bonus), a star-studded cast, and all of the basic criteria for an epic movie…But now, it’s just so—CRINGE. It all just feels so over the top, like it’s trying to be campy, but has that pretentious feel to it. How I never was bothered by Kevin Costner’s non-existent English accent is beyond me (why did he not even ATTEMPT one?! Damn you Hollywood, he was never even that good of an actor in the first place).Alan Rickman still is stellar though.. and anyone that thinks otherwise will have their heart cut out with a spoon. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3DoSxle
