Million Dollar Baby (2004) is Clint Eastwood's crowning jewel

This is Clint's best work both as an actor and director. It shows how masterful his films can be when he works with great actors who can actually handle the "one take and move on". Compare this (or Unforgiven) to Gran Torino and the recent Cry Macho. Those films suffer a lot because the supporting actors are inexperienced and the performances come off as weird or just plain bad. Million Dollar Baby is such a roller coaster of a movie, in the best way. When the end credits and the terrific somber music (also written by Clint btw) kicks in, you feel empty and can't help but just sit through the entire credits and just... think. Do you also think this is his best work? via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3l0mSjH
