Disney should make a new Peter Pan movie that is true to the original story: Captain Hook is the good guy trying to save the children.

I’m watching the original Peter Pan movie with my son, and watching this as an adult gives me a completely different perspective that when I was a kid. After a bit of looking into it, the original Peter Pan story tells a story of a boy who never grows up, kidnaps children (lost boys), and kills them once they hit puberty. Those that survive this attack grow up to become the pirates on the island. Disney gets around this by saying that the lost boys don’t grow older, but in the book, they do. In this movie, we could follow hook as the protagonist trying to save these kidnapped children and trying to stop Peter Pan. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3aLk3Ns
