Rewatching The Matrix, I came to wonder what happened to Marcus Chong (Tank in the movie)…I wasn’t disappointed

TLDR for those who don’t want to read: The Tank actor wrote a book about his experience on the Matrix and it’s wildI first looked at his imdb and since 1999 he had a guest stint in 5 TV shows, and a role in two movies. Didn’t do anything since a short movie 8 ago…So I dug more.Turns out he had a money disagreement which led the wachovskis to kill off his character. But rewatching the sequels I found it weird that his character isn’t even mentioned (the talk about the brother, Dozer, but not Tank), added to the fact that his career dried off after the matrix I couldn’t believe to just a money disagreement, so I dug more…I found that Marcus Chong wrote a book named « The kill off » about his experience on the matrix, and boy it’s insane. He talks about Laurence Fishburne and Keanu Reeves sniffing cocaine at a wrap-up dinner, mentions that he was invited to a premiere at warrner studios and then expelled. He then tried to hide in Laurence Fishburne’s trailer, only for him to give him a bagel and getting him out. Other stories include him being paid 28000 dollars for the role, offering gifts to his co-stars and not having any in return, and some other craziness. After reading it I can’t make up my mind about the stories being true or Marcus Chong being delusional, but it was entertaining nonetheless. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3lb31NN
