I think that for the era it came out in, it was quite underrated. Looking back at it, the meta commentary on Hollywood life is absolutely gold, down from the exaggeration of film production thru the shenanigans Bowinger productions gets into, all the way to Eddie Murphy as the neurotic, bordering crazy movie star. I watch this film every now and then and it never fails to make me laugh. Hot take, but it's probably in my top 3 comedies of all time. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3z28kE2
