Understandably, recommending a James Cameron movie on this sub is a bit low hanging fruit, but decided to watch this movie again with the wife for her first viewing on Amazon Prime and boy was it fun. It has that classic James Cameron technical detail blending sci-fi and actual science, but also has a bit of Spielberg influence in it.The shots are all still beautiful and look as sharp as any film today. The CGI/Stop Motion is a bit obvious nowadays, but nothing deterred from overall visuals. The colors, claustrophobia, sense of wonder, and thrilling action are all still captivating and you don't feel the long run time much at all.Ed Harris is top notch and displays why he is still a powerhouse in film today. If you're looking for a movie that blends thriller/action/adventure, then this film is top tier. It's "free" for Prime subs. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2Vs3ems
