Honestly, Tropic Thunder actually surprised me in a good way. I think it is a great satire.The story was perfect to lampoon action films and Hollywood. The comedy was clever due to the actors trying to survive in a war-themed environment with the action bits being surprisingly good.Ben Stiller and Jack Black were great but Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Cruise were comedic gold. They may be recognizable but they play their roles perfectly. I think Downey Jr.'s character was meant to make fun of method actors and took that concept on a whole new level. Cruise was over-the-top and outrageous in a good way and I think his scenes are the most memorable of Tropic Thunder. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3xLXP72
