With the release of Demon Slayer: Mugen Train in the US it is now technically the highest grossing R-rated animated film of all time. Ahead of Sausage Party and South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut

Though to be fair looking at the competition you'd think there's been about 15 R-rated animated movies given a theatrical run in the US.
