In this the third and final installment of Tomm Moore's "Irish Folklore Trilogy" the stunningly beautiful tale that wonderfully weaves the themes of preserving the natural world, societal cages and the evils of autocracy, but most of all it's about love and friendship and this heartwarming story of two young girls, from two different worlds, finding a common ground amongst the beauty of the "dark" forest. Also, Wolfwalkers is more proof that as good as 3D computer-animated moves have gotten over the years there is still room for the traditional two-dimensional animation that many of us grew up loving, and with this film, Moore and co-director Ross Stewart take us on a wonderful journey into a fantasy world that looks as if an Irish tapestry had suddenly come to life. If you want to watch a heartbreaking, soul-affirming adventure tale then you can do no better than Wolfwalkers, and if you haven't seen Secret of the Kells or Song of the Sea do yourself a favour and track them down as well, you won't be disappointed. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3aWhsjk
