I miss John Cusack as a leading man in worthwhile films. Such a talented performer. I'd go as far as saying he was the Jake Gyllenhaal of his generation. Neither were box office reliable and Cusack had a tendency to forego big studio films and work in low budget or type of films that audiences avoid

I was watching Runaway Jury earlier and that's such a good film. Probably one of the few high profile studio films he's done in many years. Sadly, he's been doing garbage VOD films for over five years now. I don't wanna see him continuing the Nicolas Cage route. What happened to his career? He used to get good roles that an Ed Norton or Mark Ruffalo were getting? Look at his career, a lot of his films are overlooked but he has plenty of gems like Better Off Dead, Say Anything, Grosse Point Blank, Being John Malkovich, Identity... He didn't go the Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt route in the 90s but seemed to strive for more roles like Sean Penn aimed for.do you have a favorite film of his? via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3pm8Yax
