Movies set in the UK where the scenery is bleak and nasty

I feel like this is a common theme, but I’ve noticed a lot of my favourite movies set in the UK have this sort of scenery that’s intensely shitty and bleak i.e Children of Men, Trainspotting, and 28 Days Later. The subject matter doesn’t necessarily need to be bleak or dystopian, although I imagine many of them to be so.
