Having never read or seen the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy, I decided to start “the Fellowship of the Ring” last night, ended up spending the entire night watching the whole trilogy back-to-back.

My only other knowledge of Tolkien’s Middle Earth was from reading “The Hobbit” so I pretty much started these movies with an open mind. I only planned on watching “Fellowship” but I just could not stop watching it. I ended up sacrificing my night to finish the entire 9 hour and 18 minute trilogy and I’m glad I did, as I don’t think watching them as three separate films would’ve been as captivating.
