So, I'm old, but never had watched Alien. Everything in this film is paced so well, when a movie was made for a patiently observing audience. And this begins with the title itself.As I watched the slow span of space as the film opened I honestly first thought, 'why is there that line up on the top of the screen?' Then another line exactly the same as the first randomly appeared, and another, until I was eagerly awaiting what the purpose of these lines were. Of course, as probably everyone on here knows, it turns into the title of the film, yet the wonder of what was happening stayed with me for the rest of the film. And as I said, the pacing is perfect, the build up and suspense between each big "moment" is just right.I am looking forward to watching everything that came after in this film series! via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3nuXIaI
