Just watched this movie last night and I was blown away. I didn’t know what to expect going in, but the time loop aspect was done perfectly by mixing comedy with thriller/drama seamlessly. I’m also not sure the movie works without Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt in their respective roles. And the ending was great as well, basically left it up the viewer to decide how Cage relays to Rita how they defeated the aliens. I also love the video game aspect of it—dying and getting better and better at timing and sequences and then once you win, you are sent back to the title screen. I loved everything about this film and I’m surprised I didn’t hear about it much when it came out in 2014. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/38UvhOk
