Why isn´t Jon Favreau regarded as one of the most important directors/producers of the last two decades?

This guy gave us the Marvel CU and now the Mandalorian. Starting the biggest franchise in recent history and giving new life to a classic one. The Jungle book is by far the best live action movie Disney´s made. And well, The Elf is ,with home alone, the most watched movie in my house every Christmas. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2VTVGFR
