The popularity of The Mandalorian shows what a missed opportunity the Star Wars sequels were

I'm shocked at how The Mandalorian seems to have permeated pop culture much more than the SW sequels have.Even if you wind the clocks back a year, Mandalorian was released before TROS and it was way more hyped than TROS.And it occured to me why this is. The Mandalorian actually takes direct inspiration from the serials that inspired the original Star Wars. The sequels just try to take too much from the original films, and it doesn't work. They should have looked at the inspirations for the original SW, rather than SW itself.For this reason, its pretty much accepted by fans that Mandalorian Is the best Live action SW since the originals. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/386QdBt
