As the title says.Pre-pandemic, the depiction of the separation between the rich and the poor seemed almost cartoonishly extreme, with the rich people living in their space paradise with magical medical pods that cure anything while the poor are forced to perform dangerous labor for scraps and then left to die on a rotting planet. It was considered heavy-handed enough to generate more than a couple eye rolls, but now it just seems kinda realistic. We’re in the middle of a deadly pandemic, and the poorest are forced to carry out essential labor with minimal protections while the richest can isolate in their habitats above the diseased world and thrive.Idk. I never hated the flick, but did consider the heavyhandedness a bit of a flaw. Now I kinda appreciate how in-your-face that aspect is. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/3qHOwTn
