Our new film, Sound of Metal, is out in the US on Amazon Prime. It’s about a drummer who starts to lose his hearing, and with it his band, his relationship, and his sense of who he is. The film sheds light on Deaf culture, as well as addiction, and how loss of control in our lives can force us to reassess what really matters. Jeremy and I are both actors in the film, and he helped me learn ASL for the role (I’m hearing, he’s part of the Deaf community).
