No Country for Old Men and There Will Be Blood seem connected at the hip to me for some reason. Is this common? Do you make the same connection?

Every time I see NCFOM or TWBB I immediately think of the other. I have no idea why because as far as I know there's nothing connecting these films. Is this a common connection others have made between these movies? I'm wondering if anyone can articulate why two seemingly unrelated movies like this can somehow be paired together mentally.And on that note, can any of you think of other movies that share this sort of Phantom Connection phenomenon? via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2IDwEaX
