Even big-name reviewers like Roger Ebert changed their opinions of films after time had passed (The Graduate being one example). Sometimes I'll watch a film, think it was amazing, look up reviews or a ratings score and find that it was completed slammed by film critics, or vice versa - a terrible film that reviewers love. I know that opinions on creative works can be varied and rarely will something get universally panned or acclaimed, but attitudes of the times obviously also play a big part.
