Long before playing Capt. O'Hagen in 'Super Troopers', Brian Cox became the first person to play Hannibal Lecter in 'Manhunter', based on the novel 'Red Dragon'. Cox's Lecter is disarmingly genial, and brings lots of unsettling realism compared to Hopkins' more theatrical portrayal.
