I have been wanting to watch this movie for years at this point but it's damn near impossible to find it anywhere but they finally added it to Prime and I just got done watching it. What the actual fuck did I just watch?? This movie was fucking phenomenal. The cinematography was at its peak and was just spectacular in every way. I really have grown to appreciate Mel Gibson behind the camera because he seems to have a different type of style for each of his films that each fit perfectly for the story and style. "Apocalypto" felt more like an experience than a film. There were moments that were gut wrenching and so powerful and other moments that literally had you holding your breath in anticipation. For a movie from 2006 that has minimum CGI and more practical effects this movie blew me the fuck away completely. I'm a little surprised more people have not seen it or even talk about it but I guess foreign films are a huge turn off for some which sucks because this is something that more people need to experience!PS: The subtitles on Amazon have been fixed and they line up perfectly! via /r/movies https://ift.tt/35QkKSo
