Can you think of a shot(s) from a movie that was played in reverse without people noticing?

Playing a scene/shot backwards is done purposefully sometimes, and the audience is meant to notice the shot is played in reverse (like time reversal or the likes). That's not what I'm looking for.Instead, I'm looking for examples of shots that were reversed, usually to create an effect or get a certain look by playing a clip backwards, without people noticing. It's hard to explain. But I've seen it done and just can't place any solid examples. My mind goes to like a fire or smoke or the likes played backwards. Or maybe an actor performing an action in reverse and then the shot playing forward to make it look like the actor is doing something quickly or with more force. Does that make sense?
