Just watched it for the first time and all I can say is wow. Never have I seen a movie so conflicting. The whole time, and even after the movie, I didn’t know who to root for. On one side, you have the wise man, trying to make things right in the past so that he can set up a bright future, when in reality, all he wants is a good life for himself. On the other side, you have a young a dumb man, blinded by dreams of fortune and a desire to get out of his mundane life. He won’t even listen to his future self to break this path.I love concepts in movies and this is a great one. It evokes themes and philosophical debates of fate vs free will, time travel, and good vs evil. We will never know for sure who was selfish, who was good, and who was evil.On top of all this, I felt like the directing and the overall representation of the dystopian society was great. Again, great movie. What are your thoughts on it? via /r/movies https://ift.tt/31Y474t
