I've always liked Jake Gyllenhaal, ever since I first saw him in October Sky 20 years ago. He's a hard-working, dependable actor who makes very interesting decisions. But when I saw Okja a few weeks back and he popped up I could barely stand to look at him. His over-the-top, cartoonish performance was grating and obnoxious and served no purpose either to his character or to the rest of the actors who shared a screen with him. Truly a bizarre performance by all accounts. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2OgBxXZ
