This could include graphic novels as well. One of my examples would be Road to Perdition. It's a pretty good graphic novel on it's own, however the film has Sam Mendes directing, Tom Hanks, Paul Newman, Daniel Craig doing an awesome villain before anyone knew who he was, Conrad Halls last film he shot before he died, one of Thomas Newmans best scores. It all makes for a story that maybe does add a different moral and message to the story than the novels, but the Lone Wolf & Cub dynamic is still there in a very strong way. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2nOxWFn
