Most trailers that progress in a linear way even show you 'this is how things are going to be'. Also, every trailer picks scenes randomly from the movie and in some cases the best scenes (lego movie).Reviews tell you what to expect from movies and this in a way sets you in a frame of mind. So if it is a good movie you are too concious when watching it which is not a good thing. You don't enjoy watching something you are trying too hard to watch.I actually like to find the genre of a movie only when I'm watching it.
