The Last Black Man in San Francisco is a beautiful movie that seems to be overlooked

I watched this film last night after seeing the trailer. The aesthetic of the film is a love letter to Wes Anderson films. The whole thing is just eye candy. The performances in the film are fantastic, and the way the story transitions is very compelling. Starting the film, I didn’t realize the underlying message. By the end, I realized how powerful the film was. The colors in the film pop out at you. This is truly an original film, and something refreshing. The soundtrack to this film is incredible and matched the tone perfectly. This film is backed by A24, so as soon as I saw their logo at the beginning, I knew I was in for a treat. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2ZT9Uv8
