Reddit Has Often Said that Brad Pitt is a Character Actor in a Leading Man's Body. Who is a Character Actress in a Leading Woman's Body?

Kathy Bates, Linda Hunt, Diane West and others are character actresses known for playing eccentric characters and getting lost in their roles. Like how most character actors aren't known for being super handsome (John C. Reily, the late great Philip Seymor Hoffman, Gary Oldman, etc) most character actresses aren't known for having super model looks. However, reddit and film buffs alike have always said that Brad Pitt is a character actor in a leading man's body. He never plays the same role twice from Billy the kidnapping street racer in Tales From the Crypt to Tyler Durden to Achillis in Troy to the Tank Sargent in Fury to countless other roles, Brad Pitt often gets lost in those roles and plays a host of very eccentric characters.Who is the female version of Brad Pitt?Perhaps Carla Gugino? As she is known for playing a wide variety of roles from the mom in Spy Kids to the sexy cop in Sin City to a US Marshal in Justified and a bunch more. She also has the super model good looks.Perhaps Keri Russell? Though Keri Russell has been the leading lady on a few TV shows, she has always been a bit part actress in movies. She tends to show up in small roles. Hell, even on her TV show the Americans she goes undercover in some eccentric roles. She's done plenty of modeling over the years and has legs for days.Perhaps Mélanie Laurent? I'm not sure how well known she is in France but in the US she is still largely known as the girl from Inglorious Bastards or Now You See Me. In both movies she plays very different roles. In Inglorious Bastards she wowed American audiences as the Jewish-French Movie Theater owner, hell bent on personal revenge. The film she years as she sets her theater on fire is one of my favorite Tarantino moments. I've always found her very attractive. She looks like the stereotypical french girl with that wave-semi messy blonde hair and petite build. This was mostly a shower thought and I figured reddit might have some fun with this. via /r/movies https://ift.tt/2ZG91oO
