Kyle Chandler starred in the 2005 King Kong movie, and he's also starring in the upcoming Godzilla vs Kong movie. He plays two different characters in two separate continuities of the same franchise. Has any other actor done this?

I know some actors have double dipped in comic book universes, and usually it's something like Chris Evans going from Fantastic Four to Captain America, but that's not quite the same thing.. If it were Chris Evans playing Human Torch in the 2005 F4 movie, and then playing a different character in a reboot of Fantastic Four, then it would compare.I also thought of Judi Dench in James Bond, but that doesn't compare either because she played the same character in two different continuities, not two different characters.This is Kyle Chandler appearing in two different Kong movies, 15 years apart, that have no relation to each other. I think that's kind of crazy. I feel like nobody will even notice because we've kind of forgotten about the Peter Jackson King Kong.
