Director Hal Ashby ('Harold and Maude') began working on Western-Thriller 'Hawkline Monster' in 1975 with Jack Nicholson & Dustin Hoffman but it was never made. It's now going back into production. About two gunmen hired to kill a monster that lives in ice caves below the basement of a house.
