Rewatched Snatch (2000) and nearly twenty years on it's a tight af film with outstanding performances all round.

First off, Brad Pitt is on top form as the one-punch knockout-king pikey, who just wants the best fur 'is ma. I heard he spent time with the traveling community to get to grips with the accent.Vinnie Jones was menacingly good as Bullet-Tooth Tony. His Desert Eagle 5.0 speech is a thing of beauty. He had some other decent roles but I didn't see him this good again until I stumbled upon him in an episode of Elementary where he stole every scene he was in.Statham looks fresh faced and plays it nicely along side Stephen Graham as they try and wangle their way out of Bricktop's back pocket - and the impending trip to his pig farm.Boris 'The Blade' Yurinov is an unbelievably hillarious character: "You can keep the 10 grand, along with the body. But if I see you again - YOU MOTHERFUCKERS!" Brilliant and effortlessly played by Rade Serbedzija (the tramp in Batman Begins). The late Mike Reid as Doug the Head was a great bit of casting considering he was so well known for appearing in Eastenders which still is a popular and successful English soap opera.Benicio Del Toro as Frankie Four Fingers, and Dennis Farina as Cousin Avi play it to a tee and show the locals they can go toe-to-toe..."open the dog!!" đŸ˜‚Great film, great lines, tight pace, unexpected twists, hilarious scenes, and strong performances all over the place expertly weaved together. The music and sound effects were perfect as well.Glad I can appreciate it all these years later after the imitators have come and gone. via /r/movies http://bit.ly/2uWNKWN
